Postgraduate Research Project Advice
Are you undertaking research for the first time and don't know where to begin? We can help. In many disciplines undergraduate programmes are focussed on developing skills that will be utilised in a typical career rather than the more niche area of research skills. When progressing to postgraduate level study, this means that Master's and PhD students are expected to conduct research despite receiving almost no training.
We can provide:
-
Advice on formulating research questions, designing projects and choosing statistical analyses.
-
One-to-one "project doctor" sessions
-
Workshops on project design
-
Tutorials on specific research skills
-
Lectures covering an introduction to science and statistics
This support is available for students, supervisors, universities and other organisations.
