Short story competition:

Deadline April the 30th. Theme ‘Protecting Life’ you can write any story true or made up which is inspired by this phrase. You can take this theme from any angle, it can touch on ethics, faith, history or nature or you can simply write an imaginative tale. The setting can be historical, modern, futuristic, or any other setting you can imagine. It can have a serious or light tone. It is open to young people aged 7-19, with two age categories age 13 and under and ages 14-19. The younger children may write from 50-1000 words, and the older young people should try to write at least 500 words but not more than 5000. The prizes will include stationary supplies and will be announced soon.
